Thank you for visiting our website, and getting to know a little about Robbie and our foundation that we started to honor him and his memory. Please let us know that you visited! Sign our guestbook, and let us know if you would like to be added to our mailing list or email list, and include your address if you'd like. We love hearing from people who knew Robbie, and those who would didn't but would like to help us remember him by joining us to help save other young lives.

2008-06-06 Gary Lamoree WOW! What a great idea and effort! My hat is off to you. I currently reside in Corbin Ky, Our 11 year old is very active in the baseball program here in Whitley County. I will bring this before the board of commissioners, They may already have one but I am 90% sure they don't. Currently on our county complex, approximatley 7 games are being played at any given time, from pee-wee to girls softball. This would be a great asset. I was also excited to see my home town of Fishkill Ny involved...fond memories of my baseball days.
2008-06-06 Sara This is a very worthy cause. Whether it is actually used or is there as a "just incase", it is worth every penny. From children to the elderly, these devices can buy someone those precious minutes they need until medical help can arrive. I have personally seen the use of one of these devices while at the gym, and I am happy to report the young man not only survived his heart attack, but was back in the gym a few months later. If it weren't for this, and the quick thought of some people at the scene, this man would not be alive today.
2008-06-06 Ontarian Well my healthy father was at the YMCA and had sudden arrythmic arrest and a defibrillator saved his life forsure! They had to use more then once on him. Paramedics and heart doctors said without he had no chance. I have also heard of children dying from this in other sports. So keep up the good work!
2008-06-06 Lisa Hello, Thank You for turning your personal tragedy into a very worth while cause. Your son is adorable, and I'm sure, smiling down upon his parents with pride :) To Mikeb. Do your usually write with such ignorance? I'd suggest that next time you write you at least research what you are writing about. Do you know the cost of an AED? Are you aware that an AED can be used for adults and children ? I'm sure you are well aware that the AED devices are well endorced by the American Heart Association, the CDC and virtually all other well respected medical associations. My son's baseball Little Leage purchased an AED this season. And this rather inexpensive purchase ($1,500 ) devided amongst several teams saved 2 lives. And, yes, MikeB. one of them was a very young adult. So, no one minded in the least that each team had to "fork out" virtually $50 a team or $5 a player. The lives this device saved were well worth the cost. So, Mikeb, I suggest you learn the self Heimlich maneuver.... it may save YOUR life the next time you shove your foot mouth. Againto the Levine family best wishes with your cause. You have a speical angel at your side.
2008-06-06 Cathy Mikeb-what an ignorant and insensitive comment. If one of these devices saves the life of even one child I consider it money well spent
2008-06-06 Shari Mikeb - It is not just children at these games it is also grandparents, aunts, uncles, and umpires. I have heard of umpires having heart attacks at games this year. Also last year we had a kids grandpa collapse and an ambulance had to be called. Please think of everyone and if it is not needed GREAT!! I'm sure everyone will be very happy, but if it is needed I'm sure they will be just as happy they have it. I am very sorry to hear this story. What a beautiful boy you can see by the pictures he was loved!
2008-06-06 Crazy I believe in AED's - someone donated one to our high school and not long after someone was using the campus to cut through to a neighborhood - had a heart attack in his vehicle and his life was saved because of the AED. For your sake Mikeb I hope if you ever need one there is one close by. Have you noticed all the places they are now? They must be good for something. i am considering one for our youth church league for soccer, baseball, tball and basketball. If it saves one child it is worth it.
2008-06-06 Cheryl Mikeb - you are one ignorant man. As for you Jill - I wish I had the time to do the same as you, because I know the importance of AED's. My husband, 6 yo son, and other family members have Long QT Syndrome and if they have an episode - a defibrillator is most likely their only hope of survival. I will do my best to help in this effort as well.
2008-06-05 Andrea Just read about you and had to tell you that I think you are a true HERO! I don't have kids but any human being can appreciate what you are doing! I am so sorry for your loss but I would bet that Robbie is very proud of you. I'm proud to say that I grew up in the same town in which you live! G-d Bless
2008-06-05 A Mom In Baltimore Please ignore the stupid comments from Mikeb. Clearly he is not a parent. If you save a single life, it is as though you have saved the whole world. You have my sympathy on the loss of your beloved son. Keep up your good work. Can we start a program in Baltimore?
