Thank you for visiting our website, and getting to know a little about Robbie and our foundation that we started to honor him and his memory. Please let us know that you visited! Sign our guestbook, and let us know if you would like to be added to our mailing list or email list, and include your address if you'd like. We love hearing from people who knew Robbie, and those who would didn't but would like to help us remember him by joining us to help save other young lives.

2008-06-06 Tammy My oldest son just turned 4 years old. He will begin soccor soon and I really wish they would do more extensive checkups before they begin youth sports. There have been so many articles and news stories lately about children, teens and even 20 yr olds that have been passing away from heart failure. It is such a scary situation to think that your child could have a problem that may go undetected until too late. I think having defibrillators at events is a really good idea. At least our children would have a fighting chance if something were to happen unexpectedly. Thank you for starting this crusade. I'm just sorry you had to experience the loss that so many of us are hoping to avoid.
2008-06-06 Julie I lost a brother who was 20 years young to Sudden Death a little over 5 years ago. He was playing flag football and caught a pass. Suddenly he collapsed on the field. Besides defibulators a mandatory EKG should be made for ALL athletes. This could have saved my brothers life. He seemed to be a healthy kid. It was never detected he had any condition until after he was gone. Thak s for sharing your story.
2008-06-06 Toni God Bless you. I am a mother of 6 kids and my children are very involved in sports, And I have often worried about this same thing. Thank you again for taking your tragedy and turning it into a very positive awareness. Keep up the great work.
2008-06-06 Jay Heroux We are so sorry to learn of your loss and God bless you for doing this. We are the parents of 3 boys on of which has a congenital heart defect. He has had 2 open heart surgeries in his life so far and is only 6. Heart birth defects are the number ONE birth defect in the world. 1 in every 100 children born has a heart defect. Its kills more children than HIV/AIDS. Raising awareness and having the right equipment is critical. God Bless you Levine family and thank you for keeping the happy face of Robbie alive and out there for all of us to see. He looked like just a wonderfull boy.
2008-06-06 Sonia Della Longa I immediately alerted a board member of our Little League RRLL after reading about your foundation. I applaude your corage and efforts.
2008-06-06 Cecelia As president of our little league I feel that I am in a position to bring this awareness to our small south texas town and push for this device to be our new priority. My heart aches for your loss and every time a new page comes up right there at the top says it all - Forever 9. - My wonderful sons are 13 - 14 on June 9th, and 2. Both are very active and I cannot imagine the pain your family has endured. However, please find some comfort that the work you have put forth is making a real difference. Robbie now knows he really does have the coolest mom. I pray that God continues to give you strength in your battle. Somehow, next season we WILL have an AED on site. God bless you and your family.
2008-06-06 Sharon Our 21 yr old daughter was diagnosed with "Brugada syndrome" after fainting and cracking her head at work.Ekg in emergency room showed the syndrome(ventricular fibrillation)Symtoms are fainting and or sudden death. We were fortunate to say the least especially for it to have presented itself in the ekg. It's genetic but we have had no one in the families pass suddenly.Maybe this info can help someone who's looking for some answers?I wish the Levine family peace and success with their foundation,
2008-06-06 Recardo Person I'm sorry for your lost. Our prayers are with you always. I help Coach young players for our Central Alabama Youth Football League (CAYFL) here in Montgomery,Alabama. The name of our team is The Montgomery Falcons and my 12 year old son plays on the team and your story has open my eyes very wide because he has ashma. Having that device is really what we need. At our next board meeting which is this saturday I will bring up that topic. May god continue to bless you and you family.
