Like others have listed in your guestbook, I too am so very sorry for your loss. You are such an inspiration and now a lifesaver to others. I too am a mother of a very active son with a passion for baseball, and as a result of learning more about your foundation and defibrillators, I have contacted my local Recreation department director to voice my concern and interest in providing this for our local youth programs. I am so glad I watched CNN that morning and was able to learn more about this foundation. Maybe I can help youth in my area, as a result of learning this information. You are doing a terrific job.....keep up your drive for awareness. God Bless You, Your Family, & this foundation! |

I just want you and your family to know that our family is inspired by you. We started our Foundation after we lost John Wesley. We draw strength from you. I am so proud of the work you have done to spread the word of SCA and AED's. We know that we must do more, but some days it is just too overwhelming. John Wesley will be "forever 9" also...God Bless you in all you do in honor of Robbie! |

You and your husband were heroes well before CNN gave you that title.
Thank you for your efforts to save others.
I lost my younger brother at 22 to sudden heart failure. He was in a crowded movie theatre. Maybe one day the device will be as accessable as it should be. Thank you. |

We just finished viewing the cnn news heroes clips, and are still so amazed at how well you are able to execute and organize this story into making it now accessable for all people across the country to benefit by getting the defibrillators that are needed in their communities. It is because of your tragic loss that other lives will be saved due to your efforts. Both of our friends, Jill and Craig are the true heroes. Your brilliant son Robbie will always be missed |

I am so very sorry to hear about your little boy. Please keep the awareness alive about this crucial issue. If I can help in any way, please email me. I can help get awareness started within my son's baseball league. Thank you so much for your courage. |

My oldest son just turned 4 years old. He will begin soccor soon and I really wish they would do more extensive checkups before they begin youth sports. There have been so many articles and news stories lately about children, teens and even 20 yr olds that have been passing away from heart failure. It is such a scary situation to think that your child could have a problem that may go undetected until too late. I think having defibrillators at events is a really good idea. At least our children would have a fighting chance if something were to happen unexpectedly. Thank you for starting this crusade. I'm just sorry you had to experience the loss that so many of us are hoping to avoid. |

I lost a brother who was 20 years young to Sudden Death a little over 5 years ago. He was playing flag football and caught a pass. Suddenly he collapsed on the field. Besides defibulators a mandatory EKG should be made for ALL athletes. This could have saved my brothers life. He seemed to be a healthy kid. It was never detected he had any condition until after he was gone. Thak s for sharing your story. |
